How
should I apply OdorZyme?
(directions for various

not work; a fluorescent tube-type light is
required.“UV” refers to a specific
band of light wavelength. Generally, urine will
fluoresce under any UV light – but some
exact wavelengths do a better job of fluorescing

light provides an optimal light wavelength for
urine fluorescence. Black lights work best in
rooms that are totally dark. If the uric

you may need to get close to the source to see

size and age of the stain, allow to sit for 10
to 30 minutes before washing. For particularly
stubborn odors and stains, saturate the items
and place in a plastic bag overnight. This will
allow OdorZyme®
to break down the urine crystals to remove the
odor and stain. After treating with
OdorZyme®,
wash as you normally do to remove other soils
and dirt. The problem with
steam cleaners is that they can not reach all
the urine deposits! Urine will travel through
carpet and padding and into the subfloor. If you
don't reach all the urine deposits the smell
will return. Also, the heat produced by steam
cleaners can reduce the ability for the enzymes
to work. It is important to
SATURATE the affected area with
OdorZyme in order for the enzymes to
eliminate all the uric acid crystals. For room
size areas we recommend using a clean pump
sprayer to saturate the affected areas in order
to reach all the urine. You do not need to scrub
